Going the distance

It seems Serbia is prepared to forgo EU membership to keep control over Kosovo.

Serbian PM, Vojislav Kostunica has a good argument, that Kosovo is legally part of Serbia and EU conditions have never included territorial concessions. But if he’s prepared to shun EU membership over it, there’s not much else anyone can do to persuade them to change course.

Martti Ahtisaari, UN special envoy for Kosovo, says in the article that “Serbia was willing to give everything but independence, while the majority ethnic Albanians in Kosovo wanted nothing but independence”.

Where do you go from there?

    Thanks anyway!

Oh, OK. I do read the “read more” bits. But I’ll also read the whole post if there’s no “read more” link. So… I have contributed nothing to this “debate”.

4 out of 7 should, in fact, read – of the only four of my readers who have responded in comments, all four have voted NO. That’s 100%.

So exit polls indicate a landslide victory for the NO vote.

Alright, so the survey would have revealed that out of my seven somewhat-regular readers, at least four would have voted “NO” to recycled urine and faeces in their cups. And by that, I of course mean the ‘read more’ feature.

    The people have spoken.

I read maybe 50% of the “read more” blogposts.
