I’m going to try two things here. One is a java-based panorama viewer. I think it’s supposed to be for 360-degree views, but I don’t have those, so it may jump between the end and beginning when it swings around. The other is trying to get this Bleezer thing to automatically upload a pic again from my hard drive.
This first panorama is one I took in 2004. It’s from the top of Mt. Kaputar (1,200m) looking west over Narrabri. Actually, it swings almost 180o from north to south, with Narrabri being almost in the middle. This panorama has been put together with autostich. I decreased the file size and quality so it should come up pretty quickly. I also left it in it’s original, uncropped format so you can see how much you lose when you don’t use a tripod to take your pictures in a straight line! Use the ‘play’ button or click with your mouse and drag to the left or right to spin the picture. Spin speed is controlled by how far you drag the mouse.
And now for another attempt at an automatic image upload after tweaking a few settings…. If it doesn’t work you’ll see a plain box with eicon in it.
Powered by Bleezer
UPDATE: That java plugin just will not work… I don’t know why, but am trying the linked photo from another source in this (likely-to-be) empty box.
