I’m not going to post the full-size panoramic picture from earlier because it’s 23mb. Yes, that’s right, 23,709,388 bytes of information. Or 9,188 pixels wide by 6,119 pixels high. At approximately 9pm on Tuesday night my poor old Compaq finished the picture – only 168 hours after it had begun. That’s seven days and 20 hours. Unfortunately it only rendered 54 images compared to the original 66 in the first pic, which leaves me with two-thirds of a church. Luckily I don’t care enough to try it again, because if I did I might get annoyed after another seven days.
In the interests of trying to work out my previous issue with linking a pic here, I’m going to try again. It should, theoretically, upload said pic from my hard drive to my website, then show it here. You may get another empty box, since if it doesn’t work the image source is showing as my hard drive (/user/david/..etc).
