Not having handed in two assessments, I finished up my journalism news writing course 1.5 marks short of a pass. I have to submit another story within the week to make up enough marks for that pass. At the moment I’m trying to find some decent story I can whip up, so if anyone has any story ideas, send ‘em along! This is Dave, hard at work (…), signing off.

Yeah, that interview with Beazley was this week. It’s been going on so long, you think they’d start to realise it’s not working.
I asked Latham’s adviser the same thing, once. Face to face, one on one. He didn’t take it too kindly either!
Thanks Bren. I think that’s a little too in depth for my 1.5 marks, but does sound interesting! Heard an interview with Kim Beazley asking him when the ALP was going to approach an election with their own policies rather than reactive, we-won’t-do-what-they’re-saying-they’ll-do policies. Beazley didn’t take kindly.
Comparing current woes of the Israeli and Australian Labor parties.
Very interesting stuff. Good local angle to draw people in, international, ‘important’ aspect to make ‘em feel important, and knowledge to empower them the next time they have to appear at wine wanker events – including how the coming elections in Israel and the rise to power of the new Labour chief (from Israel’s version of the ACTU, no less) has changed lots of stuff.
